The author, Mark De Young of the book, ‘Please… Understand My Messed Up Life - Tales from Greenwood Middle School’ went to Barnes and Noble in Tucson for his book signing event. The event was a success as the author sold out many copies of his book. This book is full of middle school stories and the emotions attached with them. Same sort of things happened at Greenwood Middle School when the brownies were waiting with special surprise for the right person. Where on the other hand there are furious teachers and the story of some typical hip-hop dancers somewhere in the cafeteria exchanging their moves is all that we can relate to. But we know that everyone has their own crazy stories that makes the middle school a hell of a roller coaster ride. And when we think of it now that how can someone survive in such a chaos, we definitely need to dive deep in the craziness of the middle school because only that can provide us with the possible explanations. The author, Mark De Young has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and has masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. He is a teacher by profession who has been teaching fifth and sixth standards. He is an innovator in the field of learning in a classroom and is working with international organizations for school improvement and clean water projects.
