Author William Barrell Interviewed for His Children’s Book by The Archer

The local newspaper run by volunteers, The Archer, featured author William Barrell and his children’s book The Mice Invade Buckingham Palace. The feature was published on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 and can be found on the 8th page of the newspaper. The author spoke about the history behind the story and also mentioned the thank you letter he received from Queen Elizabeth after he sent a copy of his book to the Queen. The author said, “This is not just a children’s book. Adults who read it to their children may be a little enlightened too. Before humans took over the area and built that mighty palace, mice used to live there and rule the area. But after humans’ arrival, they had to leave their place. After moving to America in 1954 he found his ultimate love and became an artist. He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife and continues to paint and write.
