On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, The Manchester Times published an interview with Tammy Mentzer Brown, the author of Happenstance. The article shared a brief outline of Happenstance. In the interview, Tammy talked about her passion for writing, and how her twenty-eight years of experience with youngsters influenced her to write this beautiful novel. Happenstance is the story of a sophomore, Lori, who is confident that there will be no barrier for her to pursue an older man, Branson. Things don’t turn out how she hoped, various situations and difficulties expose her immaturity. Tremendously disappointed, Lori put her focus on her career. After losing it all, she discovers the chance of happiness again.
Tammy Mentzer Brown is a nature lover. She gets a dose of nature by biking, hiking, and fishing. Her favorite place to carry out these activities is in the beautiful mountains of Tennessee. Her hobby is to curl up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee by the fire.
