Author of Please… Understand My Messed Up Life – Tales from Greenwood Middle School Mark De Young attended his book signing at Barnes & Noble in Yuma, Arizona. Readers and customers were thrilled with the comical book and had a lovely conversation with Mark. Mark was excited to share his book and he raised awareness on issues like bullying, hunger, and isolation which are quite common in school life. Mark also urged teachers and students to work together and eradicate the issues from the root. Marc De Young’s book Please… Understand My Messed up Life is a fun-filled story that raises awareness about different issues students and teachers face during their time in school. Issues like bullying, body image, isolation, and rejection have been portrayed in the story. The author invites the readers to indulge themselves in the adventures of the students and teachers at the Greenwood Middle School. A veteran teacher, Mark De Young has had firsthand experience with issues students and teachers face in the school. He is currently teaching the fifth and sixth grade. He likes to implement innovation in teaching process with the help of technology. He has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
