Author of Farm Story Eddie Casson Was Interviewed by Facts & Arts

Author of Farm Story Eddie Casson recently had an interview published in a literary newsletter by Facts & Arts, on Saturday, October 26th. The interview highlights Casson’s inspirations and difficulties with creating his memoir. To any reader who has a preference for memoirs, and even to those who don’t, this book encapsulates the true emotions and events that inspired Carson to write Farm Story. The interview and book alike are well worth the read! Farm Story is a gripping true-life story about the life of Eddie Casson. He grew up on a farm in Indiana and was brought up with a religious family. It was normal for boys to grow up and excel at masculine pursuits, but Eddie never fit in. In order to become his true self, he had to hurt people that he loved along the way. This book reflects what it was truly like to grow up in the ’60s and ’70s as gay. Eddie is now living his dream. After attending Tri-State Beauty School, he became a hairstylist and make-up artist. He currently lives in Manhattan with his husband of 30 years, Jeff, and their two beloved dogs.
