Author Kerin Gertsch Attended Her Book Reading Event at Cuvilly Arts and Earth Center, Ipswich, MA

Our brilliant author, Karin Gertsch, attended a book reading event for, Flora Has an Adventure, at Cuvilly Arts and Earth Center, Ipswich, Massachusetts. All the students were excited to meet the amazing author. A beautiful smile surfaced across the children’s face as the author gave an incredible read of her book. The author interacted with kids and adults alike and signed her book’s copies.   The book Flora Has an Adventure, is an engaging children’s book. It is a story of chickens and hens. Flora who belonged to the Ameraucana breed sets out on an adventure with the farmer’s wife. The rest of the chicken flock gets curious that where and why Flora is being taken. Marge, the farmer’s wife and the children in Essex get surprised to see Flora’s capabilities. Flora is something beyond an ordinary chicken.   The author Karin Gertsch emigrated from Germany to the USA at the age of six and currently resides with her husband and two kids on a Christmas tree farm in New England. She owns a Scottish terrier and a friendly flock of chickens.
