Austin Macauley’s magnificent author of Flora Has an Adventure, Karin Gertsch, attended a book reading event at Winthrop Elementary School, Massachusetts, USA. The event took place on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020. The author was excited to attend the event. She read a few lines from the book and discussed it with the audience. The author also talked about her inspirations and further intensions. The book is about a chicken who was taken out for an adventure by the farmer’s wife called Marge. Flora who is a chicken has been having fun with Marge on this adventure while the flock back at home had been thinking that why has she been taken away. They had different thoughts running in their mind that what would she be doing to her but little did they know about the fun she was having. The book has beautiful illustrations that are so brilliantly colorful and amazing. It makes children go into the world of Flora. The author resides in New England with her family, a terrier and her chickens.
