
Author G. B. Gurland’s Hosts Inspiring Student Reading Event
Our extremely talented author G. B. Gurland attended a student reading event on February 27, 2020, for her book, Emily Fisher - Word Maven, at The Mazel Day School in Brooklyn. Gurland did a reading of her first book, Olives Where Are You? for a class of kindergartners and then her most recent children's book, Emily Fisher--Word Maven, for a class of first-graders. There was high energy and anticipation among the young students who were anxiously waiting to meet the author. Upon her arrival, she was greeted with much admiration and love from her young fans. The event was a success and students had a great time interacting with the author and listening to her amazing stories.
The author recently published a beautifully illustrated children’s book, Emily Fisher – Word Maven. It transports the reader to the world of an imaginative child who is fascinated with all kinds of words and the way they sound.
