The author of children’s book Sebastian’s Dinosaur Adventure was interviewed in a local newspaper, Puslinch Today, on December 29th. Filiz Isabela Ziya talked about the story behind her book. She shared that her son was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, which changed Ziya’s life for the better thus inspiring her to start writing children’s books. Sebastian’s Dinosaur Adventure is a beautiful book with colorful illustrations showing a boy having fun with dinosaurs and there are great messages which connect children and parents with children that have autism. This book has different aspects in it such as a spinning globe and a boy with a clever imagination that can be seen in kids with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
