For This I am Grateful is an autobiographical encounter of the author’s life after being diagnosed with vascular Dementia. At age 55 and already a widow the diagnosis was the worst thing that could have happened. Life changed, friendship shattered, and relationships broken. Apart from the diagnosis, the worst part was she had to face everything alone and had to figure out a way to fight. With new motivation, she set out to find her new self.
