‘Austin Macauley Publishers’ Became a Part of Brooklyn Book Fair 2018
Every year in the heart of New York, the Premiers of American Literature gather together to celebrate the largest free literary event. The event took place at Brooklyn Borough Hall in Brooklyn, New York.
The occasion was full of well-known and emerging writers from all around the globe who made it to this admirable event. The Event organized Children’s day and celebratory festival’s day with more than 300 authors and 250 plus book sellers.
We also made it to this year’s event and enjoyed the lovely festivities of it. On Sunday, September 16, some colleagues from our New York office attended the fair in order to develop brand awareness and to represent our prestigious US authors. The event was a smashing success for us as we obtained many submissions, networked with industry professionals and made a lot of book sales. We were really moved by the interest of people especially children in the books and were thrilled to witness the huge participation of kids at the event.
The entrance was free of cost for the public. The entrance to the individual program was based on the purpose of first come and first serve basis. Many of the authors were present at the events who signed the books immediately at conclusion of the program. Certainly, there were many programs set to inform the audience about the latest trends and techniques in the literary world. From kick off parties to book reading and signing events, the fair was a complete success. We learned a lot at the event and found it very educational.
N.K. Jemisin was awarded the annual BoBi award. We Congratulate Miss. Jemisin on this marvelous achievement as she is the first author of speculative fiction to win such an award.
