ALA Annual Conference

ALA Annual Conference

Current year’s ALA 2019 came to an end with one of the strongest attendance’s in attendance, in the heart of national policymaking city: Washington, DC. As one of the most prestigious and the largest library event, this affair hosts over 120,000 libraries under one roof. The American Library Association’s annual conference profoundly brings together 25,000+ librarians, library staff, publishers, educators, trustees, authors, special guests, and exhibitors from around the globe to connect and contribute in the ongoing transformation of libraries.

Austin Macauley Publishers were once again privileged to be a part of this conference, which ran from June 20–25 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. We had this amazing opportunity to exhibit our books to the masses of librarians and teachers who attended, bringing attention to our wonderful collection, suitable for all.

This annual, Austin Macauley Publishers strengthened their relationship with the Book Riot and Booklist, which proved very fruitful. We shed light upon the significant structural model of hybrid publishing and its success trail in the publishing industry. Austin Macauley Publishers had all their authors potentially on the table to help them access collaborations between us, libraries and themselves. Despite being extremely occupied in endless meetings with companies from all around the world, our diligent team took the time out to promote a wide array of titles to which we received a great appreciative response. We got ample opportunity to weigh in Austin Macauley Publishers and spoke about the publishing industry itself.

The ALA Annual Conference in the capital city proved out to be one of the most wonderful events we attended in this year. Our bibliotheca team is already excited and gearing up for next year to meet more new publishing industry faces and come up with more strong literary bonds. These scheduled sessions gave us an incredible opportunity to bring the world closer together, one book at a time.

In our limited time to squeeze in our range of amazing titles with librarians, we encourage readers to pay a visit to their local library which you can find through, https://www.usa.gov/libraries.

Our warmest regards to our team who made this event inspiring, innovating, and interactive successfully, for an event which was about community, creativity, literacy, legacy, and diversity.
