Mr. Sanders, I can't that you enough for your gift to me, a person you did not know who walked into your store to ask for a suggestion on where to stay during the coming Ragtime Festival. I just finished "Undying Spirit" and truly enjoyed it. Marcela certainly had quite a life. Following her through the many turns it took and all the people she met along the way really kept me on her trail as she met new people and succeeded in helping them and herself. She did not take no for an answer and was a true person to admire for her progress and success. Marcela was truly a heroic, positive person and an example to all. She welcomed challenges and used her brain and body to get things done, successfully. Also, your international experience as a U.S. Air Force Officer and personal knowledge of the Marin and other agricultural areas, with other additions such as Sierra City, CA, etc., and then your geological profession where incorporated, pleased me given my knowledge, especially of the U.S.A. locations. Suddenly, I have been encountering a challenge and at age 85, I find that my body is not as willing as my spirit. I rise to challenges and now, I am taking a day of physical rest. This gave me a chance to stay with Marcela until she parted with Lucia and sat down at her writing desk with the bonus of now using my fingers to express my gratitude to you for your life and ability to continue writing, too! My Spirit Thanks Your Spirit...
