In this comforting and soothing Clarke Fable, your child will learn the miracle of healing, and how going through troubling times of illness can make us stronger.

Watch for the transformation of the little puffin, as nearby the child’s experience of healing also unfolds. Be sure to watch for the love that is shown between the child and the mischievous dog.

Constance Clarke was born in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, and was raised and lives in Schenectady, New York. Influenced by her grandfather, she enjoys writing poetry. As a retired teacher and grandmother of five, she has long held the belief that children learn so much through what they read, which is why she has combined her poetry with original fables. She volunteers with a school reading program, a regional rehabilitation hospital, and the theatre. She and her family enjoy their summers in the Adirondack Mountains.

This book is a “must read” for children coping with illness and its after-effects. Just knowing that one can get to the other side and back to living again is a comfort. Children (of all ages) can benefit from this book.
