Some believe that we put on different masks to face the world each day. Some people have this control and some don’t. The Albatross sheds light on the darkest parts of the mind that most struggle to comprehend and share with the world. Through this work, perhaps all the broken souls can come together.

Akacia Winslow is a voice for those who feel they cannot speak. She is a young girl from Sonoma, California, with a passion for theater and literature, who found happiness in turning her darkest thoughts into works of art and working to encourage anyone feeling lost to turn those thoughts into whatever they want.
