Vinnie Strumolo has been working with PTSD, mental health, and addiction populations since 1990. He has specialized in the treatment of childhood and adulthood trauma. His early trauma work was dedicated to childhood abuse issues. He has gained extensive training through his experiences as a licensed therapist and crisis intervention therapist on a mobile crisis response team. Mr. Strumolo has been a forward thinker in the field of post-traumatic stress and has developed a framework for therapy called Resolution Focused Therapy(c) (RFT).

This was a beautiful book that will especially speak to children (and children at heart) whose families are built in unconventional means. George the goose is looking for a family when one day he lands on a new pond and is adopted by the humans who lived there. Slowly George begins adding to his family and although they all look different they all feel love the same. This book touched me and I can’t wait to read it to my nephew and other children in my life. Kudos to Mr. Stromolo for writing such a heartwarming story. I hope the adventures of George continue into other books.
