On this spirited journey, the reader is destined for the pumpkin patch. But hold on; along the bumpy, eerie adventure, one hears and sees some spooky sounds in the moonlight, and shadows and creatures of the night greet the reader whimsically.

Through this spooky suspenseful ride, the reader learns to breathe through scary feelings, and leave the pumpkin patch unharmed and empowered to overcome anything again that might go bump in the night. Come along and join the fun!

Jayne M. Heller-Leh has a Ph.D. in Special Education and spent decades helping young children succeed in school in various ways. At the university, she prepares pre-service teachers in areas of trauma, mathematics teaching, diversity, and childhood trauma. She has training in cognitive processes, chaplaincy work with children, and trauma response to support children in situations of community disasters. Dr. Leh believes that all who work with children should be aware of teaching self-regulation and skills toward resilience and help children cope during traumatic circumstances and most importantly, heal from trauma.
