I would recommend this book to parents who understand the need to educate their kids about gun safety. My boys liked it (10-12), it was an easy read :)
I love this book! Finally something that teaches safety of hunting and guns for kids. Education is key. Hazel goes through a failure and then comes through in the end.
Hazel learns lessons and loves hunting with her family. She comes out in the end with a turkey for the holiday meal. Great book and storyline.
Fun little book discussing the ideals of safety and being respectful of natures sacrifices for a hunted meal. Colorful illustrations allow for the more mature content and bigger words to be enjoyed by a younger audience as well.
