If you have not read or know anything about the legends of the Chocolate Hills in the Philippines and its tarsiers (species of small leaping primates found only on some of Southeast Asia islands, including the Philippines), then before you read even one more sentence in the book, you should know that the young Danilo, a son of a poor fisher, went along his friend Carlo on what they thought a fun trip to the Chocolate Hills in pursuit of free chocolates.

This supposedly one-day fun trip to the hills through the beautiful sea and farmland sides of the Island of Bohol, quickly turned into a few months terrible tragedy that devastated them, their families, and friends.

This storybook will take you through unusual situations, adventures, unexpected incidents, funny incidents, affinity relationships, and unexpected encounters.

This story recorded these unusual adventures. You, however, should decide whether you can possibly endure this mystical story.

I just finished reading Danilo and found it enjoyable. It started a little slow before it got into the action and adventures. I like it very much and suggest to make it a movie. I look forward to watch it if it becomes. Will it be a second story to know the fate of Danilo's friend? It will also be a good idea. Sincerely, Johnny

This is a good book that my buddy recommended. Very exciting and entertaining. I only wished it was a little longer to know what happened to Danilo. The last chapter stated that only time will tell. Wished the author told what happened unless?

This is a good fiction book that I enjoyed, unusual and educational about the Philippines. I learned while reading the adventures of Danilo. Love every part of the story. Like to know what will happen to his friend. Is another book coming or ?

I just finished reading Danilo and I loved it. It is a very different type of fiction. It made me dream about the Chocolate Hills and the Island of Bohol. My family is originally from the Philippines and we were not aware of the Chocolate Hills. And they want to go there over the Christmas Holidays. Wonderful book, my brother is reading it as I write this testimonial. Angelina
