A Children’s Guide to Story Yoga is a fun and playful way for teachers and parents to engage children with mind-body movement, while they gain confidence in their own bodies. Using sequenced yoga postures and storytelling, this book brings in early methods of SI (Somatic Intelligence), using mindfulness as a natural way of everyday life. The mindful poses and stories used in the book have been created with sequenced instructions, with a short story about the pose or the character used in the pose.

Celeste da Silva Cunha is a RYT500 Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher, and Level 3 Personal Trainer/Gym Instructor, who taught yoga classes, workshops, retreats and wellness events for several years. She was born in Swaziland, of Portuguese, South African and English descent. She is a mother of four adult children, and A Children’s Guide to Story Yoga is her first children’s book. She mainly writes experimental embodied poetry and is working towards publishing a poetry manuscript, yoga & mindfulness flashcards, and another children’s mindfulness book.

As a former yoga student of Celeste, I was thrilled to learn that she wrote a yoga book for children. Reading her book, I could hear her voice guide me through the poses. Her love and playfulness for yoga and life shine brightly with each pose's story and illustration. This is a delightful guide to yoga for people of all ages.

Me encantó este libro! Es fácil de leer y escuchar. Es perfecto para jóvenes y adultos que practican yoga. Incluso para quienes tienen un manual básico en inglés. Esto es lo que hace feliz a la gente. Me encantó este libro! It's easy to read and listen to what's written and printed on it. It's perfect for young people and adults who engage in yoga activities. Incluso for people whose primer is in English. This is what makes people happy.
