Joel Taveras is a Latin American author and writer from New York City. He holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a credentialed licensure as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). He is a professional in the field of Vocational Clinical Rehabilitation in both the nonprofit sector of social services and the private sector. He is also a professional Certified Life Coach. Mr. Taveras has over 17 years of experience in the world of mental health and medical disabilities, developmental disabilities and substance abuse. He has his own practice where he sees clients for Therapy, Counseling and Coaching, NYUMBRELLA Coaching. Mr. Taveras has always had a passion for storytelling, literature, art and traveling the world.
