Alysen Bayles

Alysen Bayles grew up on a farm in Wisconsin near the Minnesota border. She rode and showed horses and was active in farming activities while attending school. In 1982, she spent a year studying in Australia and graduated high school from Hawker College in Canberra, Australia. She keeps in contact with a couple of her friends from Hawker College. She also maintains her long-time “pen pal” friendship with her “Bicentennial pen pal” from New Hampshire. Alysen has been married to her husband, Dan, since 1993 and they have two children. After spending several years in Springfield, Missouri, Alysen and Dan have recently relocated to Kansas City.
