Kevin J Adcock, author of 'Adventures with Sir Maxwell' will be at this years Loogabarooga Festival 2016 held in Loughborough. Kevin will be attending the event on Sunday 23rd October from 5pm where you can meet the author and get a signed copy of his book. The festival will include free creative drop-in workshops, storytelling sessions, advice on how to write and illustrate your own book, as well as well known children’s authors and illustrators including Harry Potter illustrator, Jim Kay, Alastair Watson presenting The Dinosaur That Pooped by members of McBusted, and a Clangers workshop to coincide with a new CBeebies series.
Christine Iliadis will be signing copies of her debut novel, "Paradox of Freedom", at Ajax Library on Saturday 22nd October from 1PM onwards.
Glenis Carlton will be signing copies of Four Snails And An Umbrella at Big B Books in Burleigh Heads, Queensland on Saturday 22nd October from 12:00pm. Four Snails and an Umbrella is a vibrantly illustrated tale that follows a group of snails, who live happily in a vegetable garden. The author, Glenis Carlton, is a teacher of English and French. She has previously written two French play books with translation for students, Zut Alors and C'est Génial. She has two sons, a daughter, and three grandchildren in Australasia. She hopes her book will teach children the importance of friendship and helping others.

Mersey-side author, Ian Marsh is holding a fantastic talk at Huyton Central Library where he will be discussing his career as a lecturer and criminologist. The author will be discussing about crime, the media and exploring some explanations as to why people kill. Ian will also be selling copies and talking about his debut fiction crime novel Murderer: On Your Mark.
