Fiona J. Roberts is at the Rossmore Community Library

Join Fiona J. Roberts as she talks and signs copies of her masterful book 'Ebb and Flow'. Grab this mystery fiction from the shelves and meet the mind behind it all. Julia is all too aware of her failings, unable to cook, nervous and tongue-tied at any social event, lacking confidence. Moving to a country cottage in a beautiful but isolated spot is just what she needs to lift her depression and with Mark, her loving husband, new friends and hobbies, life starts to look better. But in a short time she's displaying a startling change of personality, criticising and belittling her new friends, shop-lifting, even giving in to violent tendencies. Is she bipolar, psychopathic or could her apparent addiction to the water from the old bore-hole in the garden be to blame? Is there a connection to earlier inhabitants as far back as Victorian times or could there be a malign influence somewhere close by the cottage? Mark sets out to solve the mystery of his wife's strange behaviour in his own logical but unorthodox fashion, but his interference leads to an unexpected turn of events.

Donna L. Jones is Signing Books at the Swansea Grand Theatre

Donna L. Jones will be signing books at the stunning Swansea Grand Theatre, where these people know better the power of language, and with 'The Rise of Global', read into how powerful language can actually become. "ONE Language, ONE Version, ONE Vision;" "ONE Global Law - accept it or be Labelled!" Global - "super or killer language"? Apollos Popov has no doubt. He fears that Global will spread throughout the planet, like a disease eventually killing all Mother Tongues. He believes the spread of Global will usher in a new age of language superiority; a return to just one spoken tongue as in the days before Babel. He is convinced that the consequences for all native languages would be catastrophic. One man is responsible. The Rise of Global tells the story of that one man's obsession to eradicate his true identity and replace it with a new one; one that will afford him power and status, one that will give him a new name - a name that all citizens will recognise as THE LAW...

George Roberts is at the Talbot Hotel in Stourbridge

One reading group will be truly blessed the last Wednesday in March as they will get to meet local author George Roberts, who has just released his debut book 'From Ten Down to Three'. This humorous novel is set to charm and delight anyone who decides to open its pages. In 1986, James collapses after a game of football at school. The cause is diagnosed as a tumour on the brain. Although treatment is successful, James will never be the footballer he was. The story of James continues on into his thirties as he falls in love, starts a family and becomes, in a modest way, a hero. In From Ten Down to Three George Roberts examines fate as events happen in James's life that leave him questioning whether things are meant to be or are simply coincidence. A phone call made in error lead to him finding love. A bang on the head reveals the presence of the tumour. Saving a young woman's life leads to an unexpected encounter. From Ten Down to Three is a delightful read full of wit and a dash of tragedy.
