Join Sarah Slater, author of 'Bookmark Bear', at Head Over Heels in Chorlton on Monday 21st August. Simon Adepetun will be at the Weaverham Library, Weaverham Northwich, on Monday 21st August at 11am. Simon Adepetun, author of 'The Bee Hive', will be giving a reading from his book and be available to answer any questions you may have. Eleven-year-old Daniel Jeremiah Chambers has parents, Philip and Susan, who love work and shopping and who just don't listen. Daniel is an only child ... no, he's lying ... he has a sister, Alice, who has a dolly fixation; Dan is sure she is an alien. Bizarre animals, Imaginary Friends, Heroes and most unfortunately, the vile and loathsome Monsters we conjure up in our minds when we're most frightened. Thomas Llewellyn doesn't know anything about this other world; neither does his brat of a little brother, Isaac nor their young cousin, Emily. They soon come to learn about the existence of this strange world when they are suddenly and violently pulled from their own by a turbulent vortex. Robert J. Marsters is attending the North Wales Faery Festival in August 2017. The family festival will take place from the 12th-13th of August, where the author will be there to discuss his fantasy book, 'The Ascension of Karrak'.

Cat Taylor, author of 'Florence - The Confused Frog', will be at Haddo House as part of the Summer Fair. Cat will be partaking in a book signing and a small writing workshop. The writing workshop will be running twice throughout the day, at 12pm and 3pm, The day will be packed with fun activities, tasty food and stalls that you can book onto if you have a few things you'd like to sell. She argues that she likes to swim, eat beetles and slugs, and hibernate - all things that a hedgehog does so well. However, her friend Herbert the Hedgehog is on hand to rebuff all her arguments and provide logical thinking to finally make Florence see that she is a frog and not a hedgehog. A light-hearted book showing that it is better to be yourself and celebrate the differences between friends.      

G.B. Gurland, author of 'The Secret Files of Phineas Foster', will be attending East Hampton Library Children's Book Fair on Sunday 13th August. The Children's Book Fair is a free event that will be running from 2pm until 5:30pm.
