Colin Denby, author of The Price of Freedom will be signing copies of his book on Thursday 12th May on his own stall during the University of Blackburn's Dinner of Remembrance. The event will be held at Scholars Restaurant at Blackburn College from 6.30pm to commemorate World War One, and all the proceedings will go to the Blackburn based hospice. During the evening there will be an auction and raffle, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn will be in attendance.

Rebecca Bradford will be signing copies of 'Verge - Book One' at Albany Creek Library on Thursday 5th May from 12:00-13:30. ‘Verge' is the first book in a new series of dramatic vampire teen novels by Rebecca Bradford, featuring the instantly likeable protagonist Ashleigh Palmer. Mike Uden will be holding a talk at Beckenham Library about his new book 'Dead Man Talking'. This talk will include a workshop created by the author about helpful tips and tricks to becoming an author. This fantastic event will be held on Wednesday the 4th May at 6:30pm. This event will be open to all members of the public.
Join David McMichael at Great Harwood Library on Wednesday 4th May at 2.30pm where he will be the Guest Speaker during their Coffee Afternoon. David will be speaking on how he became a writer, his inspirations, reading one or two passages from his title Shadows in a Photograph and much more! There will also be a chance to meet the author and purchase signed copies of his book.
