South London Press Featured Ray Barron-Woolford’s The Last Queen of Scotland

The South London Press featured the inimitable author Ray Barron-Woolford and his newly released book The Last Queen of Scotland which highlights the life of Kath Duncan, an activist who forged important paths in history. “She achieved the impossible and her story is an amazing one, no matter your politics,” Barron-Woolford told The South London Press in his interview. The news feature admired the author’s work on the life of Kath Duncan and praised his efforts for acknowledging and bringing her efforts and struggles for civil rights to the light. The Last Queen of Scotland is a historical account based on the life of Kath Duncan, which honors her efforts and struggles for establishing the LGBTQ and civil rights movement in the 1930s. It was her striving efforts that laid the groundwork for The National Council Civil Liberties. Kath has also been in prison twice.  Ray Barron-Woolford is a broadcaster, playwright, and author. He is a life-long community activist. He recently wrote a play about the role Kath Duncan played in establishing LGBTQ and civil rights movements.
