You can get the book from here. Commander Richard J.G. Goodwin was born in Persia in 1913. He was educated at Haileybury College before joining the Royal Navy. He worked as a Navigator in minesweeping missions. His service was decorated and distinguished. He was made an envoy by the British Admiralty to Central and South America to highlight British efforts in WWII. He died at the age of 99 in Peru.
