Amy Meislin Pollack got featured in the West Essex Tribune Newspaper for her novel, The Adventures of Jelly Bean. She sheds light in the newspaper feature on how she came up with the story in the book. The author began as a storyteller, and her journey translated into becoming a writer after sixty years. The Adventures of Jelly Bean is a story of a mischievous girl who learns to adapt to her changing surroundings and relations. She tries to work out the odd relations with her close ones, and over time the little girl learns to make sense of her world. This was the first book of the series, succeeded by another, The Further Adventures of Jelly Bean. Amy Mesilin Pollack reminisced her school memory when she was in fourth grade, and her teacher asked her to tell a story instantly in front of the whole class. Her journey towards storytelling began just by then, and the recent pandemic posed an excellent opportunity for the author to try her hands at authoring a book of her own. She is currently residing in central New Jersey with her other half. Moreover, she devours her quality time reading, writing and enjoying time with her children, and six grandchildren.
