The Radical Thread
Ever wonder what it would look like to weave a little bit of Heaven into your everyday work?
To turn ordinary emails, meetings, and customer chats into something that feels... sacred?
That’s the heartbeat of The Radical Thread. This isn’t just another customer service strategy. It’s a completely different way of working—one built on a foundation of real faith, genuine love, and service that’s led by the Spirit, not a script.
The Radical Thread is a call to live out your discipleship right at your desk. To see that no task is too small when it’s done intentionally, in the name of Jesus. Every single thing you do can carry eternal weight.
It’s time to stop managing your faith and start weaving it—into every thread of your business and your life.
And honestly? The world is waiting for what you’ll bring.

Finite Element Analysis
There are several objectives in this book. These include teaching the history, basic principles, and the theory of finite element analysis. The students will be introduced to applications of finite element analysis to real-world applications. These applications include, but are not limited to, analysis of thin shells, fracture mechanics, analysis of reinforced beams and columns, stress analysis, earthquake analysis of structures, buckling, seepage under a dam, a medical example, registration of MRI and PET scans, and a finite element analysis of the Golden Gate Bridge. These examples come from my own personal work experiences, research, and technical publications authored by me and persons instrumental in the development of the finite element method.
James A. Mandel, P.E., is a registered professional engineer. He designed bridges on the interstate highway system. He also did the structural design of the Gemini Ballute. He was a full-time professor in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Syracuse University from 1967 to 2008.

Grit & Gratitude
Adnan Adnan’s journey along the historic Camino de Santiago transformed a personal pilgrimage into a masterclass on self-realization. The strenuous journey demanded grit and gratitude, revealing a practical, twelve-part framework for making a dream a reality.
Through twelve profound experiences—from recognizing a dream and finding focus to understanding the power of routine and the function of boredom—the author maps the journey from dreamer to doer. This transformative spiritual map asks the essential questions:
How to recognize a dream? How to stay focused? What is clear thinking? What is the power of routine? How to find escape velocities? Is willpower a lifestyle? Why do the difficult tasks? What is the function of boredom? Are there other forms of meditations? Why rest? What does fasting symbolize? Why is enough, enough?
If you are in possession of a dream, you are in possession of courage. Discover who you are.
Memorable, provocative, and fearless, Grit & Gratitude: The Perseverance Powerhouse will show you the way to your own discovery.
“Gritty. Magical. Powerful. This work of art reminds us of the root of our personal power, which we often only discover when everything else is taken away.”
– Lisa Francesca, author of The Wedding Officiant’s Guide: How to Write & Conduct a Perfect Ceremony

The Walls of Villa Fatema
The Walls of Villa Fatema follows the unexpected journey of an American girl who finds herself a guest in a traditional Moroccan family’s home in Casablanca, the port city made famous by the classic film starring Humphrey Bogart.
By turns humorous and unsettling, this memoir by Avery Russell captures Alice’s struggle to navigate – and sometimes ignore – the complexities of a sex-segregated society.
Rich in detail and cultural insight, the book offers an intimate glimpse into the lives of women in 1960s Morocco and explores the tension and fascination that arise when two very different worlds collide.

To Mr. Brummell My Best Teacher
A migrant teacher from Guyana, with no special education experience, is sent to teach an uncontrollable junior high school special education eighth-grade class that no one wants in a tough Brooklyn, New York, neighborhood, but he battles the challenges of disgusting unruliness, sickening apathy, and jarring disrespectfulness and overcomes them. It’s only the beginning, though, as each successive year comes with difficulties that he must triumph over to deliver meaningful academic instruction.
The public will appreciate this book for its clear language and raw honesty, and some people who treat teachers with indifference will develop respect for them. Parents uninvolved in their children’s school life, or who are marginally involved, will re-examine themselves and pay closer attention to their children’s academic progress and behavior. However, teachers in the United States and other countries will love learning from a former educator’s true, thorny classroom experiences and what he did to be victorious over them.

All I Ever Wanted to Be Was a Nurse
Want to be a nurse? Find out what you’re in for. Already a nurse? You can identify.
All I Ever Wanted to Be Was a Nurse shares the sad, funny, terrifying, and compassionate feelings in the daily routine of a nurse’s life. Looking back, I can see more clearly how God guided this nurse in her work. Each chapter is its own individual story taken from my experience in different fields of nursing.
Here are a few samples, just a few, to whet your appetite:
ò
The impact of the car on the motorcycle sent Justin flying up into the air as the gas tank burst into flames, his body landing hard on the burning, racing bike. “No!” Justin screamed.
ò
“I’ve decided not to deliver—AND YOU CAN’T MAKE ME!
ò
I rushed into the street in pursuit of the beautiful, young-looking Alzheimer’s patient; now we had stopped the traffic both ways. As I tried to corral her, she started to beat me up with her large, leather purse. She rushed at the waiting traffic yelling. “Help, she’s trying to kidnap me!”
ò
“Give it to me or I’ll just hold my breath and die!” I couldn’t give more meds to him; surely a grown man wouldn’t do such a thing. But...
ò
“Director of Nurses, come here!” No one but the Director of Nurses was acceptable for this former neurosurgeon.
ò
All I Ever Wanted to Be Was a Nurse is still true—no regrets. I hope that those who are sitting on the fence about nursing will, after reading my story, choose to be that one more nurse who will carry on!

Defeat the Devil
This book was written so nobody would have to live in fear any longer. Fear is a demon sent by the devil to trouble you and I will teach you how to make it flee. This book will teach you to identify the three sources of thoughts in your mind and how to take a thought captive and give it to Jesus. You will learn how to destroy the devil’s lies, tear down strongholds and close gateways the devil uses to trouble you. I’ve included many categorized scripture promises for this purpose. By learning to use the sword of the Spirit you will be able to defeat the lies and deceptions of the devil and his demons. God parted the sea for Moses, He stopped the sun in the sky for Joshua, and He will break chains for you. Those chains of addiction, fear, anxiety, depression, discouragement and distress can all be broken by using the sword of the Spirit. Whatever the problem you’re experiencing, the Lord has a solution and is waiting to come to your rescue. Stop being a victim and become victorious by using the sword of the Spirit.

The Zen of IT
The Zen of IT offers a calm, clear-headed philosophy for navigating the modern IT workplace—an environment increasingly defined by complexity, constant change, and outdated ways of working. Rather than promoting yet another rigid framework or recycled methodology, this book challenges the assumptions that have shaped IT culture since the 1990s and asks a more fundamental question: is the way we work still serving us?
Drawing on decades of real-world experience, The Zen of IT argues that popular process-driven approaches have often become barriers to flow, innovation, and accountability. In their place, it proposes a mindset rooted in collective responsibility, simplicity, and professional craft—one that empowers individuals and teams to think collectively, adapt intelligently, and act with purpose.
Through thoughtful reflection, this book explores concepts such as flow as the natural life of a problem, growth through struggle, and awareness of one’s environment as a means of anticipating change. These principles are not presented as abstract theory but as practical ways of staying effective—and sane—amid pressure, uncertainty, and relentless demand.
Whether you are a CEO, an experienced technologist, a project manager, or someone feeling worn down by the modern IT machine, The Zen of IT offers a refreshing perspective: less noise, more clarity, and a sustainable way to work with calm, resilience, and intent.
Read this book to understand what an alien knocking on your door really means.

Bea the One
Bea didn’t choose the chaos—chaos circled her name, underlined it twice, and showed up early. In this brutally funny, sharp-tongued memoir, she drags you through the beautiful wreckage of a life that refused to behave. With wit as dark as her luck and humor sharp enough to perform its own surgery, Bea turns trauma into punchlines and catastrophe into confession.
This isn’t a story you read politely.
It’s one you inhale.
One that grabs you by the collar, laughs in your face, and whispers, “Trust me—my disasters are more entertaining than your therapy.”
Step inside. Bea’s got stories. And they bite.

Government of Nature
For eons people have wondered about those things that go bump in the night. In the beginning most believed they were monsters coming to eat them. Human maturity has allowed us to see through these fears. The noise makers are simply living things such as opossums, raccoons, owls, and skunks. The life noise of all the different species and organisms with which we share this planet. Each wading through their own lifelong adventure. And what do these creatures want? They want what we want—a safe place to sleep, a full belly, a strong and courageous mate, and a fair chance at raising a family for a long-lasting bloodline.
Countless numbers of living things travel with and among us daily. The food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the shelter we take are all products created by these living entities. There are rules and regulations that govern nature that allow her to do what she does.
The government employed by nature! Capitalistic Biotic Republic. Wait! What?

In the Modern Tower of Babel
In the original fable of the Tower of Babel, as punishment for attempting to build a tower into the heavens, the people were relegated to an inability to communicate, each speaking a different language. Hence the term “to Babel.”
The Modern Tower of Babel refers not to multiple languages but to the increasing spread of misinformation, disinformation, and fake news. We are increasingly disadvantaged in our ability to establish fact from fiction and truth from lies. This confusion is leading to the chaos we now see across many aspects of society: In medicine, should we vaccinate our children or not? In the health of our environment, are global warming and climate change a reality, or are they a hoax? And, of course, in politics, where anything seems permissible and truth is often discarded in favor of retaining power.
But all is not lost. If we are smart enough to use modern technologies; such as AI; intelligently and with proper regulation, we can harness the wealth of information available to us and leverage modern tools to distinguish fact from fiction and rigorously evaluate evidence. But that will only happen if we use AI properly, and given our current course, that outcome is far from assured.
