Getting a Ride in Daddy's Low Rider Truck
Family potluck birthday parties are a kaleidoscope of joy, laughter, and shared memories. With every dish served, stories are passed around just as generously as the Tres Leches cake for dessert. The thrill heightens as a piñata bursts, showering treats for all to enjoy. As melodies from the Mariachis fill the air, dancing feet and singing voices join in a vibrant celebration. And when rain clouds gather, they don’t dampen spirits, but rather offer the joy of splashing in puddles and waiting out the storm together. Mud-trapped cars? No problem!
A ride in Daddy’s iconic Lowrider Truck becomes a spontaneous adventure, filled with giggles and song. And as the evening unfurls, new parties beckon in the distance, leading to new rhythms, new friends, and more cherished moments. After all, it’s never too late to join the fiesta, especially when a Lowrider Truck arrives in style.

Glimpses: St. Aggies
A town is more than just a collection of buildings; the buildings themselves are secondary. What truly defines a town are the people who live, work, pray, sing, love, struggle, and laugh within its confines.
A town’s identity is shaped by its history, its reasons for existence, and the way these elements interact and evolve together, giving each town its unique ‘feel’ compared to another just down the road.
This book offers glimpses into the life of one such town, capturing its essence and the vibrant community that defines it.

Humphrey the Hippo and the Search for Milk
Deep in the mud pools and jungle forests of Hippoland lives Humphrey the Hippo. He is usually quite carefree compared to other hippos (who can be a bit grumpy at times). But one afternoon, he finds he is faced with a puzzle. Humphrey and his brother Harold are determined to make a cup of tea. But try as they might, they cannot find a key ingredient: milk.
So, they decide to consult their friend, Wilberforce the Wizard, for he knows everything. Wilberforce uses his magic to send the hippos to the land of Humans (even though Harold thinks humans are “mud sausages”). In the land of Humans, the hippos cause all kinds of chaos, involving grocery stores, credit cards and bananas - amongst other things.
But the two hippos persevere and return in triumph, with a carton of milk in hand, to Hippoland. However, their adventure is not over. They will still need the help of Wilbeforce the Wizard and his new mysterious friend, Clara.
