The Tisperer is a gripping Irish novel that follows the journey of a lone nationalist sniper who takes on the British Army during the turbulent times of the ‘dirty war’ in the Six Counties of Ireland. The story is set against the backdrop of the Civil Rights movement, which led to a violent conflagration that intensified after the shooting of thirteen unarmed protestors by members of the notorious Paratroop Regiment of the British Army in Derry.

The Mysterious Affair at the Met

After “the mysterious-looking couple” pulls off their prank, they and the large tourist group walk out of that particular camera’s range, becoming submerged elsewhere in the interminable galleries of the gigantic museum.

But when a docent notices “something strange” with Chagall’s Soleil dans le Ciel de Saint-Paul, in short order, the museum-goers inside the Chagall gallery hear “High Alert!” and watch in horror as a heavy metal grille drops down from the ceiling to the floor, effectively locking them inside the gallery.

And thus began what later came to be called The Mysterious Affair at the Met.

The JFK Report

On November 22^nd, 1963, U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated as he was riding with his wife, Jackie, alongside him, in an open top motorcade along Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas.

According to the Warren Commission’s Report, JFK had been shot and killed by lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald. The majority of people around the world found the final conclusions of the Warren Commission’s Report completely incredulous and quite frankly, totally unbelievable. In fact, the report was soon dubbed “the greatest work of fiction ever published”, and to this day there has never been a definitive explanation of what happened on Dealey Plaza that day that has managed to satisfy everyone.
