Troy Bobbitt, a former U.S. Border Patrol Supervisory Agent and now an author, will be hosting a book signing event for his debut novel “Mourning Bands On” on Thursday, September 12, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM MDT. Troy Bobbitt, a retired U.S. Border Patrol Supervisory Agent, served from 2003 to 2011 in Texas and Minnesota, handling various duties including fieldwork and K9 operations. Prior to his Border Patrol career, he was a paralegal in Minneapolis and St. Paul. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University and experienced the routine and rarely dramatic nature of law enforcement.
