Our amazing author, Neil J. Smith, will do a virtual reading of his book, On the Ropes, for the Friends and Foundation of the Albany Public Library. The author was inspired to write it after seeing rape and forced killings in the 1960s, which prompted him to write a rational debate of thoughts and viewpoints based on the Old Testament. It depicts the human soul at its weakest point. Click here to grab a copy of this book.   Neil J. Smith is a Bahamas native who now resides in Athens, New York. He was a boxing champion who later became an activist for civil rights in numerous organizations. He then went to New York University to study creative writing, poetry, and literature.
