The empathetic heart behind this thoughtful story is Toby Rogers, a devoted mother of two who lives in North Vancouver. Who knew that what started as a small act of compassion with her children, collecting and giving blankets to those in need, would become an annual tradition of filling vans with donations each winter? Her real-life donation became the seed for her book, In a Magical Valley, where her real-life acts of kindness turned her narrative into real magic.
