Grundy Regina will be hosting a Meet & Greet for her novel Detective Misty Rivers in "Long Overdue" on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Barnes & Noble, 2655 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, New York. Attendees will have the chance to meet the author, hear insights about the book, and get their copies signed.

Long Overdue follows Detective Misty Rivers, a Black Christian woman dedicated to both solving crimes and saving souls. When an unsolved case from her father’s past resurfaces after 26 years, Misty takes on the challenge. As the pressures of her high-risk career weigh on her, she turns to her faith for strength, proving that even in darkness, there are blessings to be found. This gripping novel blends mystery, faith, and resilience in a way that keeps readers turning the pages.

Grundy Regina, a Seattle native now living in Los Angeles, never planned to be an author—it was part of a greater plan. With a background in theatre, broadcasting, and film, she brings storytelling to life in various creative forms. She also co-hosts Pearls in the Morning with her mother.
