Mamma and Me’s Author, Bessie Emily Coleman, to Attend a ‘Black History Month’ Event
The author of a well-written religious book Mamma and Me, Bessie Emily Coleman, will be attending a Black History Month event on Wednesday, February 12th. The event will be held at North Greenwood Library, Clearwater, FL, the U.S. from 18:00 to 21:00 hours. Ms. Coleman will be reading an excerpt from her book as well as she will be doing a presentation on African American culture and its influence in celebrating Black History Month. Be a part of this event to meet the author, converse with her and to get a signed copy of your favorite book.   Mamma and Me is a blend of history, poetry, lives, and love of two exceptional women Mamma and Me; which is a revelation of Afro-American thoughts, culture and its development from the history of Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 till date. Their writing resonates with the modern audience as much as it did in the past. The writing is musical and revealing.   The author was born in Alabama in 1951 and left her home to get a BA degree from Capital University, Ohio. She has also been a teacher in West Africa and also has nineteen years of experience with the State of Alabama as an Employment Interviewer. Not only this, the author has earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. Along with this, she is serving as an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church, USA
