G. B. Gurland will be the Featured Children’s Author at East Hampton Library Children’s Fair
East Hampton Library is organizing a children’s fair on August 14th, 2022, from 1-5 pm at 159 Main Street, East Hampton, NY 11937. G. B. Gurland will be one of the featured children’s authors at the auspicious event for her 4 Austin Macauley-published books. For receiving the signed copies of her 4th book, Orphan’s Bond, ensure your presence.
Orphan’s Bond is a touching story of a 13-year-old boy Robbie, who shares a close bond with his maternal grandpa, who experiences a stroke at the onset of the story. His elder brother Henry is his complete opposite. He has a drug abuse history and a rebellious record at school, yet he gets more of his mother’s approval. The night Robbie’s grandpa was about to tell him a secret, he suffered a stroke limiting his speech. During grandpa’s days in the hospital, Robbie and Henry have their weird encounters with each other. But eventually, the most-enduring bond of brotherhood rears its head in true color while solving the mystery of their grandpa’s secret and avenging his misery.
