Smith, will hold a book reading event of his historical fiction book, On the Ropes, at Time & Space Limited, Performing Arts Theatre, 434 Columbia St., Hudson, NY on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 1 pm. After his long-awaited dream of becoming an Olympic champion shatters, his destiny makes him join The Black Panther Party. There, he experiences the darkest phase of his life.
