I loved reading this book! Exactly how you want to teach your child to work before play. I loved the idea of the bubbles in the water surrounding the interesting facts about beavers. I did not know baby beavers are called kits! I loved the fall colors it went right along with the story "The Seever Beavers Prepare for Winter". This is a great book to read and teach children. Looking forward to the next Seever adventure!

Although the intended audience is a child 6-8, you will enjoy the read as much as I did. The story was interesting and covered some family values in a subtle way. I even learned some things I didn't know - do you know how long a Beaver can hold its breath under water? Makes you wonder how they do that. The story has accompanying drawings, which are colorful and very well done. They have factual tidbits, which can educate the reader of any age. There are many well-done children's books, and I believe this should be added to the list. I would buy other books from this author in the future. GREAT job!
