  What a beautiful book and brilliant way to teach children the love and beauty of Christ. The Garden in My Heart teaches children the love of Jesus in a way they understand. I highly recommend this book to everyone! Bravo Emily! This is a darling and beautiful book that carries a message worth sharing!

  My little family has so enjoyed Emily Bevanda’s “The Garden In My Heart.” This touching, poetic picture book has been carefully and lovingly crafted. It is bursting with color and is a sweet reminder for all ages that Jesus loves each one of us enough to plan, cultivate and care for our hearts in the way only He can, in order to bring forth a bountiful harvest of beauty.

  "The Garden in My Heart" is a good book to teach your children the basic principles of growing in their Christian faith. Emily Bevanda uses the metaphor of planting, watering and cultivating seeds to compare it to the steps we must take to grow in our Christian walk; reading God's Word, obeying and allowing God to prune those branches that aren't bearing fruit. The book is beautifully illustrated too and will hopefully open up discussion with your children to help them have a thriving garden of God's promises in their hearts.

  What a great children’s book! A Garden in My Heart has quickly became one of my 4 years olds favorites. It has a sweet message, is easy to read and my daughter is reciting it all by memory. I love that my daughter is learning the benefits of guarding her heart and growing in faith.
