  An American success story. Sergio Tinoco, the Proud American, offers a compelling narrative of how a young migrant achieved the American dream. The book is an easy read and gives the feeling of actually being in the fields of Michigan as a child or the brush of South Texas as a federal agent. Having friends in Falfurrias and being a visitor there on occasion, I found that particular chapter quite enlightening. The book also serves as an excellent example for young people to follow in respect to commitment, perseverance, and the American work ethic. It should be required reading in every high school. Well done Sergio!
