Kellie grew up in Nebraska, where her love of reading and writing was cultivated by her grandmother. The two of them passed books back and forth all the time. Her grandmother wrote for the local newspaper and also wrote stories from her childhood. Kellie started writing stories as a child, dreaming of someday writing a book.Kellie currently lives in Wisconsin with her husband of 30 years, Dan. They have three grown children, Aric, Aaron and Alyssa.
