Lokpanta is compilation of short stories inspired by true events all set in the unique little town of Lokpanta located in the middle of three Southeastern states of Nigeria. Readers will be left with the nostalgic feeling of childhood memories, and the intrigues of village life. The stories are told in a way that makes it relatable to the reader. Be prepared to binge on the book till the very last page.

Amaka Nwosisi was born and raised in Enugu, the eighth of twelve children. She spent her childhood shuttling between Enugu and her beloved Lokpanta, the setting of these stories. Trained as a lawyer, Amaka has a double Master’s in Law from the University of Lagos and Emory University Atlanta, Georgia, respectively. Nwosisi is married to Victor with whom she shares five wonderful sons. She runs a blog, Lilea’s Blog, where she documents stories of growing up and other human-interest stories that catch her attention.

Amaka’s account of her beloved hometown, Lokpanta has already created a large community of Lokpanta natives-by-association.
