Jerry always trusted his friends, no matter how poorly they treated him. He’d do anything to make them happy, blindly believing in their goodness. But his naive loyalty leads him into a trap. A supposed friend lures him into a dark wood, a place of shadows and whispers, then abandons him with no escape. Now, alone and surrounded by unseen dangers, Jerry must confront the truth about his friendships and find a way to survive the night.

Pamela Malu is a second-time author born in D.R. Congo, but she spent most of her life in different countries, including Zambia and Namibia, where she met her husband, Dibwe. She traveled to Canada in 2013 with her husband and two beautiful kids. She now has five kids, lives in Winnipeg, and enjoys reading fascinating stories to her kids. She is a lover of reading, writing, and blogging. Her passion for writing started as a child, but she always wanted to write romance novels. However, reading to her kids every night before bed drew her interest in children’s books. Her debut picture book, Nancy and the Christmas Story, was published in 2022 by Austin Macauley Publishers.
