The primary goal of this book is, and always has been, to depict and illustrate the sanctity of human life, as well as the cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.

To achieve this, the author immersed herself in the perspectives of various characters, capturing their voices, thoughts, and emotions. By doing so, she sought to bring their experiences to life in a way that resonates deeply with readers.

This book is not intended to be understood purely on an intellectual level but to be felt as a tangible and profound sensation.

Mahrouyeh Maghzi was born and raised in Iran, and had a family there, but found peace in Vancouver, Canada, during a tumultuous time. It was there that she gained a profound understanding of life’s complexities, realizing that both joy and sorrow are necessary for growth and progress. Therefore, she chose to title the book Gypsy Moth, which consistently revolves around themes of light. She made a strong effort to infuse her knowledge of the Gypsy Moth mindset with enthusiasm and genuineness in her writing to bring the stories to life.
