Peter Hartman and Ray Courder, two juniors in high school, have always been best friends—nothing more, nothing less—until one day Ray discovers his undeniable feelings for Peter. Before he can make sense of these new emotions, he must come to terms with his own sexuality in this dramatic coming-of-age tale of two best friends finding who they really are together and alone. Peter Hartman; the Catholic disappointment, faces his parents’ treachery and his own demons, with the help of Ray; a hotheaded teenager who would do anything for his best friend. But will they be able to overcome the hate being thrown at them from every direction and ever become more than just best friends, or will they be forced to give into the world around them? Follow Peter and Ray on their journey of self-discovery, acceptance, and love, as they search for peace and happiness in the most dismal corners of their developing reality.

This is a great book about finding love through the drama of high school and everything life throws at you. I love the air of satire in this book too; it does great to depict what it's like to be a teenage boy in the crucial years of life. Would read it again!
