Lucy can hardly believe the end of middle school has finally arrived. But faced with end of the year deadlines, a crush, and the ultimate manipulator, Lucy learns the hard way that silencing the signals from her body leads to missing the one event she’s looking forward to the most. Will Lucy figure things out before she ruins things for everyone?

Erin has spent the last 25 years in middle school. She earned a master’s degree in Education and is twice National Board certified. She is a cross categorical teacher specializing in reading, writing, and social thinking, and is the mother of two teenage daughters. Writing and storytelling has been a lifelong project. This is her debut novel. Between the Lines was created to make social thinking part of reading and our everyday lives. Erin lives in Wisconsin and loves to travel with her husband and kids.
