A Quest for Truth recounts the devastation that sexual abuse causes a family. It shows how this family use their faith in God to recover, over time. The setting gives an inside look into the workings of rural Mormon culture in the 1980s and 1990s. The strength of the family reaches everyone. With faith, an individual can find hope even when the circumstances are bleak. Truth is not always easy to find, but the quest is worth the effort.

Patti Peterson is a widow, a mother of five, a grandmother of fourteen, and a great- grandmother of five. She grew up on a dairy farm on the Texas panhandle, hence her uniquely independent sassiness. Patti brazenly submits her first novel, written in her golden years, believing that she has learned some life lessons that she can share.
