James Louis Hagerty, also known as Jim Hagerty or simply James Hagerty (although that name is already used by an English author so a distinction to be made was in order) has enjoyed seventeen years of retirement so far from his career as a transportation engineer with the Maryland State Highway Administration. As an Irish American, he’s naturally gifted with blarney and is a compulsive raconteur. He lives near the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains in the Maryland countryside.
